About 33 degrees today. Stayed pretty warm, except I should've worn warmer socks. Was expecting the sun to come out but stayed cloudy. Rode through SoHo in NYC, watching tourists window shopping.

Absolutely love how easy it is to find street parking with the vespa. Look forward to riding more.

Nice! A lot of folks north of the Mason-Dixon Line park their scooters instead of riding in the cold. Good for you!

NYCRIDER,

How do you create that camera effect (looking back at the scooter)?

Since the OP hasn't responded I'll chime in... there is a new brand of camera Insta360 or something like that, and it takes 360° videos, and you select your view angle during editing. I think GoPro and a few other are out there too.

I Googled the Insta360 and it showed some of the camera angle effects.

I am still confused. You must have to hold the camera on something
out in front of the scooter, or am I missing something.

Bob, I saw a similar or maybe the same type of camera being used on our big ride this year. It was mounted on a Ram type ball mount and sits up vertically. I understand the operator can select particular views including rotating from a forward view through 180 or more degrees perhaps to focus on a particular feature. I don't pretend to understand but I have seen some footage and it's certainly impressive. I guess it has at least 2 lenses but someone may be able to correct that.

I'm going to use my freshly acquired ability to give you a thumbs up.
I didn't manage to see myself enjoying tourist type activities you missed me by days!
Hope you enjoy my very first MV thumbs up. No longer a lurker.
