Another beautiful, sunny day with temperatures of 20c (68f), which for N.E England is pretty hot, so off on the LML for another local ride. Wearing my leathers rather than textiles, as they feel a little cooler. An essential bottle of water in the glovebox.
So, from Trimdon I take the country lanes to Sedgefield, then Bishopton (one of my favourite local villages) and the small, quiet settlements of Redmarshall, Stillington, Carlton, Thorpe Leazes and Thorpe Thewles.
Hardly any traffic around except for a few farmer's tractors, a couple of bicycle pelotons, and some equestrians. Two and a half hours and perhaps around fifty fun miles.
