Awoke early this morning, and after a light breakfast decided to wash the scooter and prior to carrying out an oil change, take the LML for a short run just to warm the engine up. Staying local, on quiet roads before returning home to get busy with the tools.

Incidentally, the little rough-looking lane near Old Wingate is quite ancient, possibly dating back to Medieval times when the original village was abandoned, probably due to plague deaths. The main vehicle to use it now is the Postman in his van!
