Mornin' all

I returned from vacation to find my trusty ET4 wouldn't start. Starter cranks but not firing. Some ether in the air filter intake caused it to fire, but once that dissipated... dead.

So... no fuel was reaching the carb. I replaced the petcock.

Still insufficient vacuum to pull gas through. I've now replaced the fuel and vacuum lines, the intake manifold & gasket, and bought a new keihin cvk-2600a carb from scooterwest.

With all that invested, I really don't want to screw up! So... the autochoke into my old carb is hardwired black and red/black. Wiring diagram says it should be white/black and white/red... ... While the Keihin autochoke has a bayonet connector and green/black and yellow lines. So - which wire from the harness connects to which wire on the autochoke???
(The old walbro autochoke doesn't fit the new carb, btw, so I can't bypass the question like that)

Thanks for helping a newbie!

I don't think the autochoke wiring involves polarity.

If it's like a GT...

The 'vacuum' doesn't pull the fuel thru, it merely opens the fuel tap.

Engines starts, generates 'vacuum', pulls fuel tap diaphragm open, fuel then flows to carb.
