Just a quick hello to all the peeps just join today hopefully get plenty of information

I've currently got LML star DLX 125cc automatic 2016 my wife plonked on me. she impulsively decided to purchase this bike, wish I'd been there it's a nightmare 🀬🀬🀬.

I really don't know anything about scooters πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯ΊπŸ₯Ίso help appreciate.

I've done the YouTube Till my eyes burned out lol. Although it's been a great help I'm absolutely rubbish at wiring and understanding AC from DC. I thought it was a band 😭😭.

I guess it's time to troll the forums.
thank you upfront for any help you might give πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Hiya BUGGS.

Trust me I really have thought about it but I hate the washing machine 🀣 we just don't get on 🀣🀣.

Anyway pay backs a bitch because the engine's parked on the dining room table

I'm pretty sure this bike is a mixture of other LML cast off bikes I've bought parts for it and they don't even fit the good news is the engine is almost finished and just the stator to set up

"QUESTIONS"

What's the best way to recognise the exact model of LML scooter my half-wit wife purchased

And is there any electrical inline fuel pumps that will fit this bike and could you point me in the right direction. And is there anyway to upgrade the stator. It its got 6 coils and 7 wires

black
blue/yellow
Green
Blue/white
White/Blue
Blue
Brown

Can anyone list the wires for me what they are. ( such as Earth Live ect.)

Wish I had a man she'd / Cave ha πŸ› οΈπŸ›΅πŸ›΅πŸ› οΈ.

In advance I appreciate your help and thank you for the good 🎊 welcome 🎊

Unfortunately the LML auto (known as the Stella auto in the US) was discontinued several years ago and parts have become difficult to obtain. I would pass this white elephant on and move to something more reliable and better supported. And don't be too hard on your wife. The scooter was cute to look at and she clearly knew no more about that particular scooter than you did.

Sadly, this is the best advice you're going to get. There are several parts for those scooters that have never been produced in the aftermarket, so they're are 100% pure unobtanium at this point--made worse by the fact that they all seem to break frequently, so there's neither used nor NOS (New Old Stock) replacements available.

And while it may look and shift like a classic Vespa/LML/Bajaj, everything else about it, including the frame, is unique and incompatible with the two strokes.

So your best bet, especially not having extensive mechanical experience, is seeing if you can pass it along to someone else.

Sorry mate, would love to help, I cut my teeth on Lambrettas and Vespa's, some Royal Alloys of recent, I have little Knowledge on Scomadi and LMLs only that spares are getting harder to obtain as not made any more and very unreliable due to continual electrical faults, from what I know from local scooterists they are a money sponge.
I would cut it loose and buy something more reliable and cost efficient.

You can keep this over there in GD and in turn we will gladly take all the ET2 queries.

Ouch , but her heart was in the right place...

Does it run? Are you just trying to get lights & horn working? Have you found a wiring diagram?

Is the frame in good shape, nice paint etc? Does anybody know if you can chuck a 2T shifty motor in this frame? I have a Bajaj 4T frame I think it could be done on with a little body surgery. Look here, is your frame anything like this? Bajaj. Hmmm... very sturdy!

No, the 2T shifty engine/transmission can not be spooned into either of the 4T LML frames without major modifications.

I still think this is where he'll get the best advice. But move it back if you're too offended by a 4T squeezing in here.

There are still dealers trying to sell the LML Star Lite auto brand new. Little do the unsuspecting punters know what they are letting themselves in for. Get it working if you can, flog it quickly as you can, or put in the nearest harbour, removing fuel first for environmental issues. You can double its value by putting in a fuel tank of petrol.

Heres a great little LML support posting sometime back, its very amusing and I cant work out what the f they are talking about.

Important advice for all LML auto riders...do not repeatedly sit on your scooter while on the stand! We have resolved an issue for a scooter which has been suffering starting problems..we carried out the necessary service and change of bendix after 800 kilometers but the customer kept complaining of non starting..the stand was bent due to scooter being sat on whilst on the stand, therefore the rear wheel was not free to revolve upon starting...the stands are not robust enough to carry the weight of a scooter and rider...Thanks

First of all I would like to say thank you for all your replies and will take on board what you have said πŸ˜‚ I've already thought about the canal/river without the petrol πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ But I'm sure all them lovely Longboats can do without some mad bald man throwing such s**t into their canal/river. I would sooner take a lump hammer πŸ”¨πŸ”¨πŸ”¨πŸ”¨to it and at least I'll get some pleasure haha.

When mentioning your input to my partner. She looks at me shrugged her shoulders and off she went on a new Peugeot scooter b***t🀬🀬. Now I definitely know where to shove them handlebars.πŸ˜‚

Thanks everyone πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Allegedly, or so I've been told, SIP are going to start producing the currently unobtanium 4t parts in the near future. If that's the case, you'll at least have something you can ride while you ponder getting some sort of 2t.

The last time I was in Majorca , Spain I saw dozens of LML autos . There's must be a demand for parts, however it was such a short run between lml autos and closure of company the price of re- manufactured parts versus potential profit in development will be questionable . I don't think the larger body PX styled auto was too bad but the Star Lite PK lookalike had a diabolical engine .

I'm pretty sure there are lots on eBay getting shut of these bikes because of the increasing costs and the shortage of parts.

As for My LML I'm just going to rebuild it with what I have. And maybe get a few of my engineer friends to make me a few parts so I can sell it. I'll just see what happens In the weeks to come. I've got my car and she has her bike. Happy Days all round

OoOh and finding time isn't easy because I work nights and the bike isn't on my priority list anymore it's just on my boredom list ha ha.

But she's still pissed about the engine being on the kitchen table haha.

Once again thank you for all your replies much appreciated.

Could anybody post me a link for wiring diagram just to remind you "LML Star automatic Deluxe 2016 model" apparently
