My ET2 was sold this week to a very nice couple in my area so I headed off to pick up my new ride. It's not a modern Vespa, but I hope you guys won't mind if I stick around! It's been a blast to ride so far and I can't wait to ride to work tomorrow

It's still a Piaggio product, and of course you are quite welcome to hang out here. Congratulations on your new scooter, it's a beaut!

That's a great color. Gotta seem huge after the ET. I straddled one at the bike show back is January, and it was very nice. Sure has a wide butt, though. "Baby got Back!"

Very slick. They let me hang around, and you cause far less trouble than I do. I don't think you've got anything to worry about.

In the beginning I wasn't too crazy about the style of these maxi scoots, but it is really growing on me. And they must be so nice to ride. Not that I don't love my px, but it's like an old 70-ies Rolls Royce compared to a brand new one
CONGRATULATIONS! And do stick around. My feeling is that a lot of us here are interested in your experiences with it! I know I am. |

You know, Jess, that's exactly my thinking on this one. I've always liked the idea of a touring motorcycle (lots of storage & being able to take off for the weekend kind of thing) and yet I wanted something that could get me to work with as little fuss as possible like my ET did. I think the maxi-scoots have that angle covered and plenty of power as well.

Thanks everyone! I've really been enjoying it this week and since I'm still in the 'break in' period I haven't wound it up yet but I will soon It's the 200cc version of this bike not the 500 (still a big jump from the 50cc!) and I think it's got the same basic set up as the GT200 does.
