Good tag, Its the weekend. Time for a new Tag...

Here's the next tag. Sorry it's late -- I've been out of town.

Back to the historical tags. This one is a famous birthplace...

I couldn't resist: the birthplace of Silicon Valley. This is the garage at 367 Addison Avenue in Palo Alto where Dave Packard
and Bill Hewlett started their company in 1939.

In the same vein, here is another famous place that might be known to the geeks among us....

This is also a birthplace along the lines of the last tag. It also has a few points in common with it.

Like the last tag, the garage is important here and two people are involved.

My son figured it out. He's going to tag it tomorrow -- unless I beat him to it heh heh.

So this is my first tag although I've been following this for a while now. The location in question is of course none other than Steve Job's house where he and Woz developed their first computer. In order to beat Dan, my dad, to the tag I had to go in the dead of night so please excuse the poor picture quality. The house is at 2066 Crist Dr. in Los Altos. An interesting note about finding the house: I tried to use the maps app on my iPhone to find it but it ended up taking me to a random street in the middle of downtown Los Altos. Then I tried using Google maps on my phone's web browser but it took me to the same spot. Finally I used Map Quest to find it and it took me to the right spot. I wonder if the spot is intentionally blocked on Google. Anyways, good tag! I'm stoked to be in the game now! I'll post my own tag momentarily.

Mr. Hammond's Gothic design is almost 150 years old and the oldest of its kind in San Jose. If you were a member you, would fancy Orange in Northern Ireland.

Boy Palo Alto doesn't make a guy's job any easier! Farmer's Market blocked off half of California Street and I had to maneuver through the alleys to get this shot. Local rental-cop says "street's closed"... I convinced her to let me by if I turn the engine off. Nonetheless, here it is!

Can you believe it? I am up to 10 now.

Nicely done! I was beginning to feel like I picked a super lame one.

I found it awhile ago. I was just waiting for a break in the weather to get there. I ride that street on my commute to work, but it wasn't until the picture of the old kit kat club and the motor amore hint that allowed me to pinpoint by looking at all the businesses closely until I found it.

Will try to add a new tag today.

Okay guys (and girls)... Not the most glamorous (or particularly unique) tag, however, i wanted to crank one out for ya before the weekend since I'll be at MacWorld...



The hint: Shot near the "girls' corner", you are only a few blocks away from a steady beat of tribal drumming and a historical avenue of south bay epicurean delights!

(yes, i suck at riddles.)

unfortunately i only get out during daylight on the weekends... here's a feeble attempt at a hint for my feeble attempt at a tag... if you were to tag the spot above, and looked across the street, you'd see this...

Ahh that last hint did it for me. It's the bus stop shelters behind Murphy Ave in downtown Sunnyvale. Good tag!
