Michelle is gone right now on a group ride with them. It's her first time in the club. I'll ask when she gets back if they all wore helmets and what kind were they.

Michelle and I are the only ones who wear full face helmets. The two of us and one other member are the only ones who wear armored jackets. Very few wear gloves or any kind of boots. I always wear everything, boots, gloves, full face, jeans, etc, and I'm burning up all to hell. The rest of them usually wear flip flops and shorts and tank tops. When I tell them that one little accident could fuck them up, they usually just say "Aren't you hot?" Yeah, I'm hot, but I'd rather be as safe as I can. Shrug.

I'm in the pictures and the video in the pink jacket and the pink/white ff helmet. You only see me for a milisecond.

The president of the club insists that everyone wear helmets on the rides, so most wear 3/4 or 1/2 helmets. It is hot here, painfully hot, I thought I was going to be sick a few times from the heat on today's ride, but I'd still rather be protected than sorry.

We saw a tarantula running across the road at one point. Creepy!

Great pics, great news story, thanks for posting about it. Love the t-shirts! You could probably sell them to non-club members if you wanted. (Hint, hint, I'd buy one.)

So, a rally in September. I already wrote our North Texas Scooter Club about it. We just had a rally last weekend but I didn't go because I had family visiting, plus my husband isn't into the rally thing (neither of us drink beer...that's a prerequisite for rallies, isn't it?).
