It was actually two snakes and my best guess is that they are/were bull snakes. Since I almost ran over them with my front tire when parking and didn't get a warning rattle, I'm thinking that they were not rattlers.

Of course, it was still pretty cool out that morning, so they could have been rattlers in torpor...whatever makes the story better

Wow ! What a blue sky! It was a perfect day at Red Rocks. We lived on the front range for nearly 20 years, and saw many a concert at Red Rocks. I think my last one was the B-52s in the late 90s.

This has gotten me psyched up for my big adventure in July: to ride out to Amerivespa from here in Northern California.

Is SQREAM planning any special events there?

Now please guarantee that we will be able to ride to Red Rocks with no threat of afternoon showers...

Ya the Red Rocks ride was pretty cool. See why scootering is so popular here? It's always sunny. We'll see what kind of trouble we can get into this Saturday when I lead us all on a ride from Denver to Boulder. Hopefully Nukie will bring the camera and post up some pics of that one, too. No snakes this time, hopefully.

Oh, and to answer the question: SQREAM is putting on the Saturday morning breakfast at Amerivespa. Free food? From Whole Foods? Woo Hoo!
