Peruvian scoots this time, no Vespas though

This trip I wasn't on the street that much, so compared the Vietnam pics, these are quite boring. The town most of these were taken in is one of the main tourist access points to the Amazon, Puerto Maldonado, Peru.

The roads were really bad, and there were a lot of small motorcycles. Mainly Zondas, and Zuzukis (yes really) I was tempted to get a leather Zuzuki jacket, but wasn't sure if customs would have gotten the joke.

Three up on one of the small motorcycles was the best I could capture this trip. I'm going for five on a moped....

They resemble VW Things with the plastic bodywork. Yes they do make areo kits for these too.

The front 'scoot' in the first pic is particularly interesting, I wish these were sold here. Sym identifies them as Cubs, while one of the KYMCo sites lists them under scooters. I'm particularly fond of KYMCo's Activ 125, and wish I could get one here.
