Great photos. I had not considered swapping out the wheels on my GTS300 Super for larger. Does it improve performance?

My roommate in college was from Latvia. His parents immigrated to the USA right after he was born. I do not know if this name is common in Lativa.

Went on a ride up South Mountain with a friend on his Papio and ran into two sportbike riders with a guy on a Honda Reflex.

Almost felt like fall today in NE Ohio

Went on a one-night scooter camping trip to Oxbow Park, less than an hour outside Portland, OR. Couldn't help myself... Had to decorate the GTS.

USPP werent happy about my staging but whatever.

Our new commander is reinstating staff PT sessions every friday. I'll refrain from opining on whether it's a positive or negative. We'll see how long it lasts though...I've been thru 3 other commanders here. All have said we need a unit PT session once a week.

None have lasted more than 4 months due to all the other things that take precedence when you're responsible for other people. I have several junior troops whose ability to do their job....IS my job.

Ah well. Be fun while it lasts I'm sure.

Just a small tip: take a look at the first pages of this thread. 15 years ago and people having fun and being proud of 99% the same scooters as we do now, in 2023.

New shoes! Decided to size up to 13s and not only do I love the look, I'm convinced it's actually riding better? The GTS is cornering a lot better and taking Bay Area potholes like a champ lol. Could also be the fresh new City Grips 2s. Went with 120/70-13 fronts and 140/60-13 rears on recommendations from SIP.

I rode ~50-70 miles this weekend on city streets, twisties, and a bit of freeway with this new setup. Will continue to run more tests, ie ride

Thanks! On the original 12s, the speedo was off by 5mph per the gps app that I'm using. As in the speedo was optimistic by 5mph. Now with the 13s it went down to 2 or 3 mph. I'll keep checking to make sure but it definitely decreased.

That's the exact one I was considering getting, but in black w/ gray piping. Can you feel any added height from the padding?

I would say minimal height difference, really not thick at all. Too hot today, just rode a 100 yards, but I will go for a ride tomorrow and if I notice a difference will let you know.

The silver piping is very close to my paint. The carbon fiber fabric has a cool texture.

So, I rode 30 minutes in DC traffic with much stopping, starting, feet down, etc. I think it is actually easier to get my feet down because the material is slippier (if that is a word) and possibly the shape of the cover up front. I didn't notice any appreciable difference in height. I am sure there is a little height added by the cover, but not enough that I noticed. My inseam is short at around 30.5".

Thanks for the update. I wonder if the seat cover will be less slippery as you ride it more. I took the OEM seat off my GTV and put a GTS seat in its place just to avoid constantly sliding forward.
