OK...I've kept it in this century this time.

Perhaps hints are needed...or everyone is out riding. In case it's the former, here are some hints for the films listed above:

1) Most of the gang in the film ride Triumphs. They warm up to the lead charater later.

2) The lead character in this movie also appeared in Children of Men in a smaller - and very different - role.

3) The actor who delivered this line won an Oscar for the part.

The other quote I considered using from the The World's Fastest Indian was "Beer money" when the leader gives Burt Munro cash before he leaves for America. I also considered "In these shoes? I don't think so!" for Kinky Boots.

I loved both these films.

And the dead giveaway quote I considered for LMS was: "Nietzsche? So you stopped talking because of Friedrich Nietzsche? Far out."

The fastest Indian is a must see! Good choices!

I'm not sure, but wasn't that first one - "not that one, it's an original pressing" - from "Shaun of the Dead"? They're pawing through through Shaun's record collection choosing albums to fling at the approaching zombies but looking at each record to decide whether or not it's expendable.

I'll take an assist, if I'm correct, but you can have the goal and posting rights.

Another great line from the movie: "Who died and made you fucking king of the zombies?"

And the scene where Shaun heads to the convenience store near the beginning...priceless!

Well done! I was beginning to think I'd killed the thread.

B) Satine (Nichole Kidman) in Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge:

"I'm a courtesan. I'm paid to make men believe what they want to believe."

But the "same actor" was the always wonderful Jim Broadbent. The bartender in The Crying Game, Zidler in Moulin Rouge, and W.S. Gilbert in Topsy Turvey. Jaye Davidson was only in The Crying Game.

The alternate line I considered - that I figured might be too tricky - was the one Zidler calls out during one of the musical numbers: "Everything's going so well..." When of course it's not. I tend to use it when I'm having one of "those days" at work.
