Does the lake have to be a mother nature made or will a man made lake count?

Might make a difference for some of our players who may not have a 'real' lake near them? If I can get out later I can tag Folsom Lake this evening. Got a lot of scooter time in yesterday so don't know?

I think he just said 'Lake' not mother nature lake or man made lake. Go for it if you can

Any lake is good! Star Lake is a manmade lake in the middle of a local neighborhood, but not necessary for the tag.

No problem. Some people read it as Scooter Galin AL and some people read it as Scooter Gal in AL, which would be the correct interpetation.

That's great! You even got ducks. There were plenty of geese where I was, but with the sun and limited parking I could not get them in the photos I shot.

Its winter here but we still get sunny days up in the high 60's(low 30's at night though which makes it cold when I ride to work @ 6am). Strange how the weather is now. Its got all the plants and animals all messed up!

Well, it's not a tag, but wow, what a beautiful old car. I believe that's called a "woody". There must be a tree and a half on there! Not what I'd call a "Green" car...

Tag...might be a day or two before I get the next tag.

Thanks! It's a really nice stadium and their teams for the most part are pretty decent. Michael Jordan played with the Barons for one season. Terry Francona, Boston Red Sox manager, was here for several seasons including the season Jordan was in town.

The only ball park around in my neck

in Huntington Beach, would that count? 8)

Let's wait a few days to see if someone comes up with the tag.

This is our minor team but we get a lot of majors that play with them. I hear guys from the A's play or have played with them. Not a big baseball fan.

That's cool! The Birmingham Barons used to be affiliated with the Oakland A's many, many years ago. Vida Blue was here along with a lot of other names I don't recall right now.

Scooter and OLD school house. I know there are some still around (maybe not in use but at least still standing).

I took another photo at the park, but decicded it might be too difficult as the next tag. With the possibility of perhaps only 44 locations in the entire US, I might need to re-think, or dive into my photo library for the next one.

Next Tag: Your scooter at a dam.

This is Kimesville Dam, along the back roads I use when I visit my parents. Built in 1812 to run a grist mill, there was a cotton mill there as late as 1931. I remember as a child, my family driving to see holiday decorations and animated lighting displays strung out over the dam during Christmas time. I don't think they do that anymore.

Just a warning I have some interesting tags lined up, better than my insane asylum from last year...!!!!

The funny thing is I went and got that dam photo on Sat to post here. I freezed my butt off but no ice yet. (We had an ice storm and there was ice on my house yesterday.) Today was colder than during the ice storm but no precipitation but I still didn't ride to work because I didn't want to risk hitting a patch of ice. I also got a fire station but someone beat me to it by 20 minutes or so. Then it so happened that someone posted a dam as a Tag so it was meant to be!

The last photo I can see is of the school house. In the messages after that I can only see a file name

Daaaammmm. That was fast. I'll have to reconsider my tough choices.

9 minutes is that a record?

The fastest I've done it in Sac is about 45 min.

On the regional tags it is harder because they are specific places at specific angles so that is an awesome time. I think I might have gotten one in the Austin tag in around that time. This one I just happened to think it was a cool tag for national as a follow up tag if I tagged something but it turns out someone had the same idea as I did.
