Modern Vespa

I looked out the window on the way to the SVP's office this afternoon.

I guess I need to watch You a little better LOL

I spied a grey Vespa with checker board stipes down the cowels (and top of the helmet) this morning heading north on Riverside. Half-helmet and a smoke on the go. Spotted him last week in the car and got this pic.

We, too, have seen this rider in the Land Park area.

I saw a guy on larger grey/silver Scarabeo scooting on Greenback at Sunrise during my commute home last night.

I was stuck at the light behind all the cages...

You guys need to chase down all these people you're spotting and tag them with the scoot shop cards! Especially you: I'm talking to YOU Eduardo and Sic!!! You guys are up on the board at the shop, but no tags under your names yet! ) GET TO TAGGIN!! I need some competition in this game!

Zuma, since Theron introduced the game to my wife Mercedes and me, we haved tagged at least 4 to 5 within a few days. Looks like they haven't popped up at the shop yet; I hope they do.

Pulled up next to a nice chap on X this morning. Red GTS with a matching topcase. Plates were from Utah perhaps? Unfortunately I couldn't get my visor up in time to have any meaningful conversation

Saturday afternoon- Jst, white scoot (maybe Aprilia, likely one of those chinese scoots), had the smallest topcase I've ever seen. My wife asked if that's for the guy to store his gloves.... Sure, gloves or a sandwich, but not both!

It's been almost a year since I seen his Big Ruckus so it coulda been someone else... Anyway ... Hi!

Seems likely. He has a yellow BR and lives in the East Sac neighborhood. Likely he was the target.

Who has the blue and black P200 (I think)- Saw her on that street that connects Arden and Howe (by the triple tit movie theater).

Over the weekend, saw a vintage yellow Bajaj Chetak at Target on Broadway. Very modern and clean with crate. Nice looking scooter.

Ya caught that, did ya? I thought about honking ... but my inner chicken won out.

We just got gas and were heading to the bank and then on to a S. River ride. We stopped at a friend's house for a little while then hit Freeport.

Might I suggest avoiding S. River after 7pm - Being the lead bike, I had so damn many bugs on my visor when we got home! She had like 5 ... Glad I had a full-face, though - kinda wish i'd had a turtle neck, too!

Saw a few times a dude on a red Vespa in the Land Park area. Just this afternoon, heading west on Broadway and 15th St in front of Towers Cafe.

Saw a guy get pulled over today on T-street about 42nd .. I'd seen the scoot before - a real sporty lookin' import of some kind - maybe a yamaha with custom paint - that's my best guess. Lotsa blue and yellow.

Yesterday morning, I noticed a single headlight in my mirrors just before 39th on T and could tell it was a fly from back there - it was even red so it was really easy to identify (wife's is red and i ride lead alot). He had an aftermarket topcase and a kid on board. Kid had a helmet for sure - was prolly no more than 6-7 years old. Looked like they were enjoying themselves. It was the first encounter i've had with another fly since the MSF course a year ago.

I spotted this Viva?? in the back parking lot at Sunrise Mall. No idea who the rider is. But I got a picture...


Note the cabel lock around the rear tire and a little master lock through the front disc brake....

First thing (after the ~snazzy~ Viva on the seat) I caught was the solar panel on the topcase ... it must only need to be used when he rides from East to West, I guess

Yep Sic.. I put that there the week before the rally, which is when the picture was taken... I just finally got around to posting it. I was downloading stuff off the camera and putting it away into folders. So I went ahead and posted it, in the chance that some one else had seen the scoot.

I forgot all about the solor cell I had assumed it was being used to keep the battery charged while it sat in the parking lot all day..

I really should cruze by there everynow and then to see if it is still there..

I was over at the Cycle Gear shop the other day, picking up a gift card, and these guys rolled in. Wish I could have seen them as they rolled in.


I think these belonged to a group of young guys who came in to look at jackets..

Here is an odd looking scoot I saw today, went in and asked about it.. (possible solution for the guy with the mp3, and to get Smrf off that 5 wheeled abomination...)
It is only a 150cc, that is slower than the Lance scoots they sell - which are slower than the LX150.

Hey Wes, I think I spotted you if you have a blue/white and black jacket today. I was turning left on Old Auburn from Auburn you(?) were turning right onto Old Auburn. I also spotted SIC on Hillsdale turning right on Madison.

I spotted that new Demented Bastard turning left on to Eureka from N. Sunrise today around 4:45pm. I was just pulling up to the light.

We were out riding around town today and came across this unfurtanate scene. This was at 15th and L street right at the corner of Capitol Park. It looked like someone ran a red light as the impact was in the middle of the street. The guy was already loaded up in the ambulance.

There's a really nice looking girl I pass once in awhile with a Plumb + Top Case ... soon as I saw it lying on the ground I thought of her ... i hope not!
