Thanks,
I am now looking at taking out the strap on the seat as it is at the exact spot I like to sit and it is a PIA..... Now I am looking at upgrading the cylinder with a Malossi kit to 209 cc including the V4 Head and the power camshaft I also want to replace my belt with a Polini one and lighter Malossi rollers (9,5gr instead of 10,7 gr) |

This was my GT200, before I upgraded to a GTS.
I bought a second-hand rack, and chopped it off and filled in the holes. But I kept the original for when I wanted the topbox on. I thought the front mudguard emblem on the GTS was the best ever produced by Piaggio, so I fitted one, but I first modded it so the tiny badge read GT instead of GTS. Thought that GT200 taillight looked like something off a Christmas tree, so I stuck some silver-grey vinyl around the red part of the taillight. And that is a PM pipe, painted black. Mike |

Hi Didge
That windscreen I got with the scoot when I bought it used. I found one on scooterwest.com.Ref#GT19.That screen Is noisy.I'm 5ft 9in tall it would put the wind in my face.I ended up cutting that screen down.I love it now. When I get a pic Ill post then.It works really good now.I do have to say that screen will ad to your top speed. P.S. your racks are too cool.Keep up all that good work. |

Hi,
Yeah ive never been a screen lover myself but the one pictured on your scoot caught my eye ( nice shape ) also like what you have done with your numberplate, unfortunately by law here in the UK our plates have to be huge so it would not have the same affect. Thanks for the kind comments |

Hi Didge. thank you. that screen would look good on your scoot. I like what you did to your scoot.Your scoot was one of the ones I saw and liked with the blacked out look. I like that look that is why I did mine plus put my own twist on it.Post pics when you get your screen.

My GT , a homage to the Rally 200 Electronic.
One of my favourite scoots of all time was the Rally 200. Here is one or two pics of my GT/Rally 200 Electronic!
Note the 7ts period horn. Discrete Blister "Electronic" stripes Even on the front mudguard! AF type sprint rack on purpose made "laser cut" plinth. Lambretta chromed end caps finish off the floor runners. And finally a "reportage" shot of a lovely GS...used as a real every day workhorse by a local waiter , found in a sidestreet restaurant in East Berlin (April 2011)...nice! That horn!
You can't...I made it.
I purchased a DC generic Italian pattern horn ( 6 quid over here) , I then removed the front chromed cover from the horn by countersink drilling the rivetts. At work , I laser cut a section of 3mm mirror acrylic into a circle about a 1/4 inch wider than the horn diameter, drilled a 3mm hole in the plastic disc and butterfly bolted the unit through a suitibly placed louvre on the original horn location. To tidy up the edges of the plastic I wrapped 3mmm chrome self adhesive strip around the edge. a bit of a bodge really...but it looks better than the original horn vent and gives a 6ts/7ts appeal to this area. |

some one altering my text!
I never put the word Hemorroid in the above text...
I used the word b o d g e! Is there an automatic American to English convertor on this site? |

Yes there seems to be an automatic change from that word to the other
Not sure it has to do with British English..... |

Nothing nice to show here, but dreams and aspirations. Thanks for the pics though, it's given me some inspiration, and something to aim for.

Stopped by the car wash today. Obligatory crappy cell phone pics. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a Jettin RPG.
